Located in Manama's bustling Bab al Bahrain area, The Merchant House, a Campbell Gray Hotel is a hip escape and a symbol of contemporary architecture. The luxury boutique hotel comprises 46 modern suites with a heavy focus on art and design.
At the lobby guests will find a beautiful graffiti pillar made by a local Bahraini artist, Mustafa Halwachi. The structure features a calligraphy design which reads 'Art Remains', a testament to Campbell Gray’s love of art. Other works dotted throughout the property are by renowned local Bahraini artists, well-established and emerging.

The hotel is made using stone, timbre, glass and is home to an array of traditional handmade carpets and fabrics. Visitors will also find The Library, which hosts over a thousand curated books by The Ultimate Library.
The insightful collection was curated with five categories in mind under the umbrella of Bahraini culture history; namely, a sense of place, a sense of perspective, escape, visual arts and lifestyle.
